After moving to Copenhagen spring of 2016 and going through the motions of being the new kid in town, P and I got itchy for a project. We weren’t ready to commit to a bigger living space and with P dabbling in side projects of his own (he’s an architect) we thought to improve on our kitchen and strengthen our skill set (YouTube)!
P’s family has lived in this building since the early 1900’s, his grandparents grew up here, as did his dad and when it came time for P to fly the coupe, he too bought a flat. As charming and nostalgic as it all is (people go crazy for those baby blue tiles), when your countertops come just below your waist and the faucet sprays in your face every time you turn it on, it’s time for an upgrade.
